After careful consideration following the postponement of our original planned release of this locomotive in General user livery, we have listened to our customer’s requests / feedback and have updated the model to the much requested livery it carried during its latter years of BR service and subsequently passing into private ownership. The locomotive carried this livery, with only minor amendments, upto its eventual scrapping in 2009. The model faithfully portrays Tinsley depots “PET” locomotive and carries the various embellishments Tinley’s renowned team bestowed upon it. The celebrity locomotive travelled far and wide across the rail network and was a must for the then various Open Days. Our model depicts the locomotive prior to the fitting of the multiple working jumper sockets; these were installed in the route indicator panels early in the life of this livery variation, the fitting of this item being left to the discretion of the modeller.
